This Privacy Policy describes how [DEVELOPER_NAME_OR_ENTITY] (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Pickleball 101 mobile application.
Account registration collects your full name, email address and date of birth. Date of birth is used for age eligibility and player-category logic. After signing in, you may optionally add a profile photo. The service also stores app activity needed for features such as completed lessons, recently viewed lessons and saved lessons.
The planned first public release does not collect your phone number, contacts, precise or approximate location, payment information, microphone recordings, or advertising identifier for behavioral advertising. The app contains general educational articles about sleep quality and diet, but it does not collect your sleep, diet or medical measurements.
We use information to create and secure your account, provide and synchronize learning features, determine age eligibility, show your profile, administer the service, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and process account deletion.
The production service uses Supabase for authentication, database and file storage. Apple and Google distribute the mobile application through their app stores. Service providers process information on our behalf according to their applicable agreements and security controls. We do not sell personal information. Version 1.0 does not include third-party advertising or cross-app behavioral tracking.
Profile photos are optional and stored as account data. Administrators may upload lesson photos and videos that form part of the learning content.
Account registration in version 1.0 is limited to people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13 without a separate verified parental-consent process. If you believe an under-13 account was created incorrectly, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
We retain active account information for as long as needed to provide the service. You can request permanent account deletion inside the app under Account → Delete account, or through our external deletion page. Deleting an account removes the active authentication account, profile, learning progress, saved/viewed lesson data and stored profile photo. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law, security or fraud-prevention obligations, as disclosed here.
We use authenticated access, TLS/HTTPS network encryption and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You can choose not to add a profile photo, clear cached lesson media locally, stop using the service, or request account deletion at any time.
